Our story

We met in July of 2021, at our friends wedding, where we both were bridesmaid and best man - corny we know!

We hit it off right away, and one thing led to another, however, it was not an easy start as we lived in different countries, and a few days after said wedding, Santi was flying back to Iceland and Helena staying in Portugal. 

Messages after messages after video calls, we decide to meet halfway in Edinburgh - where we officially started dating on October 3rd.

Distance was not easy, but many trips during these years made us come through and, three years later, in July of 2024, Santiago asked Helena to marry him, to which she replied "of course"!
